Sascha Ott’s Musican software is a great choice for anyone who has a nice collection of music. With this tool you can easily keep your collection in order and you can listen to any audio track in your collection. These are just the two main bits of functionality that Musican has to offer. Musican is available as a desktop application for Windows: an installer and a portable version; both work just fine with any Windows edition from Windows XP up to Windows 8.X.
Musican is available as a mobile app for Android. By using the app you can remotely control Musican from your Android smartphone.

A “Getting Started” dialog shows up when you run Musican for the first time. From this dialog you can tell Musican where your audio files are stored. Or to put it in other words, you can use this prompt to find audio files and load your music collection into the application. After you do so, the main panel on the interface will display all the audio tracks in your collection.
